What’s your role at Just Support?
I am a support worker and I run Dungeons and Dragons for teens. I also help with transport and some other things.
What inspired you to become a support worker?
I had a few friends and family members who were working in support work before I started and it seemed like a really meaningful and fulfilling job. I always wanted to do something where I can see the possitive difference that I can help make for other people.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love getting to do what I am passionate about for a job. I get to run amazing games with awesome people and make people happy while they learn and practice new skills.
What are your interests and hobbies outside of work?
I love D&D (obviously), anime, video games, travelling and getting out into nature.
Do you have a hidden talent or fun fact?
I am really good at finding 4 leaf clovers

I’m the Chief Quest Master around here, which means I get the awesome job of guiding our team and participants through incredible adventures in support and personal growth. I plot the course, steer the ship, and sometimes fight off dragons (metaphorically speaking).
Hi there! I’m Vanessa, and I’ve been enriching lives here as a support worker for over a year now. I specialize in supporting children and young people, focusing on academic studies, social skills, and active community participation. The best part? Our team’s wonderfully queer-friendly and nerdy vibe—it really makes Just Support feel like home.
